          1. TRANSMISSION OF THE SUN'S ENERGY TO EARTH.  It all starts with LIGHT!  The sun’s radiation, known as the electromagnetic spectrum, produces both visible light (full-spectrum) and invisible light (radio, microwave, infared, ultraviolet, X-rays, and gamma rays.  Harmful radiation is prevented from reaching earth due to the opacity of the atmosphere.

          2. TRANSMISSION OF THE SUN’S ENERGY TO EARTH.  The entire force of the electromagnetic spectrum is carried by light particles known as photons .  A photon is the basic "unit" of light and all other forms of electromagnetic radiation. It is also the force carrier for the electromagnetic force.....)  Physics states that light is energy; therefore, protons are energy.

           3. FREQUENCIES OF THE ELECTROMAGNETIC SPECTRUM. Photons not only act as particles, they also act as waves. This means that different light waves of the electromagnetic spectrum are comprised of photons. Science can identify each type of light wave by its unique electromagnetic (EM) frequency and wavelength, as follows:

          Frequency is the number of waves passing a given point per second, which is stated in hertz [Hz];

Wavelength is the distance between one wave crest and the next crest, which is measured in meters--usually 1 billionth of a meter [10-9 or .000000001], known as a nanometer [nm].

          4. ABSORPTION OF THE SUN'S ENERGY BY LIVING MATTER. When sunlight reaches the earth, our bodies absorb its light wavelengths and its electromagnetic frequencies by means of chromophores located within our living tissues (rod-like structures that contain thousands of light-gathering pigment molecules).  After absorption, biochemical changes occur in atoms, molecules, cells, or tissue.  These changes cause:

Biomodulation, which is defined as the reactive or associative adjustment of the biochemical or cellular status of an organism.  Biomodulation changes the way natural biochemical response of a cell or tissue within the normal range of its function, stimulating the cell's innate metabolic capacity to respond to a stimulus. It is the process by which a cell can heal itself.

We also absorb the sunlight’s energy [photon frequencies and wavelengths] when we eat raw foods grown under natural sunlight or full spectrum light.

          5. OUR BODY USES PHOTON ENERGY TO PRODUCE LIGHT INSIDE OUR CELLS. Inside our bodies, we produce energy in the form of light when our DNA vibrates at billions of times per second.  Every time the DNA vibrates, it squeezes out one single photon (renamed a "biophoton", the term first used by Prof. F. A. Popp because of its biological significance).  A biophoton is the smallest known light particle  (1,000 times smaller than a visible light particle and undetectable to  the human eye.  The picture on the right is a single cell nucleus emitting light.  Isn't it beautiful!

Since a biophoton is still a photon, it is both a particle and a wave with its own unique wavelength and frequency.  However, the major difference between a photon of sunlight and a biophoton within a cell is:
          • Sunlight is incoherent light, which means its wavelengths and phases are unaligned
          • Biophoton is coherent light, which means it has a single wavelength and an aligned phase.  Prof. Fritz Popp stated that bio-photonic radiation has a high order state and is a bio-laser.

In the following chart, the first wave is an example of incoherent sunlight, the second wave is incoherent LED light, and the third wave is coherent laser light, the type of light produced within our cells..

          The Body is Literally Swimming
in a Sea of Coherent Light.

Every day our body emits coherent light.  This fact was documented through the use of special photography at Koyoto University, Tokyo Institute of Technology, which shows a man’s body emitting light.

Schematic illustration of experimental setup that found the human body, especially the face, emits visible light in small quantities that vary during the day. B is one of the test subjects. The other images show the weak emissions of visible light during totally dark conditions. The chart corresponds to the images and shows how the emissions varied during the day. The last image (I) is an infrared image of the subject showing heat emissions. Credit: Kyoto University; Tokyo Institute of Technology; PLoS ONE 4

According to scientists, the light emitted from our body forms a highly-structured electromagnetic light field surrounding the body.  This light field is thought to be the carrier of long-term memory and regulates the activity of the body’s metabolic enzymes.

          6. MECHANISM OF ACTION HOW COHERENT LIGHT HEALS THE BODY.

          (1) When the energy, caused by chromophore chemical reactions, is sufficient to  energize the DNA to release at least one electron, a biophoton of coherent light is formed.  In other words: Every biophoton IS coherent light with its own unique electromagnetic (EM) frequency and wavelength.

          (2) When the biophoton is created by DNA, it receives all of the DNA information relative to the specific DNA that formed it.

          (3) Russian biophysicist and molecular biologist Pjotr Garajajev stated that he intercepted cell-to-cell communications and discovered that  the communication was low level UV transmission.   The cells were using UV light as the means by which they could "see" and "hear" each other.  We can go on to say that the UV light has laser quality or coherency because: cellular light is made up of biophotons and Prof. Fritz Popp confirmed that "bio-photonic radiation . . . is a bio-laser.  Therefore, we can make this statement: Cells use coherent light to communicate with each other.

The question remains: Why do cells communicate by UV light? Consider the photoelectric effect. In 1899, physicist J J. Thomas established that the radiation of UV light, which has an oscillating electric field, shakes the electrons within that field, causing them to vibrate and to be emitted from their atoms. These excited electrons are necessary for biomodulation of cellular functions. Without excited elections there can be no cellular repair.

In the article, "Is DNA the Next Internet?", at paragraphs "Why Ultra-violet light?" and "Photorepair", Prof. Popp confirms the following:
          [suggested reading]
          • the necessity of UV light: for cellular communications, and its affect on cancerous cells, photo repair, and carcinogens
          • that carcinogens and malignant cells, when illuminated with low-level, coherent UV light, absorbed the light and reflected and reflected it back as non-coherent light (scrambled).  This would indicate that normal cell-to-cell communication was disrupted or stopped.  Read "Is DNA the Next Internet?", paragraph entitled "Cancer is a loss of coherent light."
          •  that healthy cells, when illuminated with low-level, coherent UV light, allowed the UV light to pass through without loosing coherency.  This would indicate that the cells were able to receive normal cell-to-cell communications.  In turn, this would indicate that the processes of biomodulation and photorepair were not impaired.
          (3) In science it is known that all matter vibrates with its own unique frequency.  Biologist have established that cells with similar frequency will establishes communication by means of the optical resonance phenomenon.  Optical resonance creates an optical cavity for light waves, and "provide feedback for laser light."  Resonance is a vibrating feedback that is needed to maintain the cellular repair processes, such as:
          • Biomodulation, the process by which a damaged cell can heal itselfBiomodulation causes: a. biochemical changes in atoms, molecules, cells, or tissues, which changes the natural biochemical response of a cell or tissue within the normal range of its function [to start producing coherent light in the right amount], and b. stimulation of the cell’s innate metabolic capacity to respond to a stimulus.
            • Photorepair, the process by which the body repairs tissue damaged by UV light.   The photo on the right shows common UV photo damage on light skin.

            7. DISRUPTION IN OUR BIOPHOTON FIELD. There are many factors that disrupt or stop our cellular transmissions of coherent light, such as illness and aging. and cancerAdditional factors include but are not limited to the following:

exposure to chemical contamination and carcinogens (a part of everyday life)

environmental pollution, (inside and outside the home)

electromagnet fields (such as cell phones)
and geopathic radiation (earth's natural radiation)

When we are exposed to such disruptive factors, our repair processes of biomodulation and photo repair are weakened, disrupted, and might be stopped entirely.  The systems of the body are compromised, and our body’s production of coherent light is altered.  We become susceptible to a lower level of health or disease.  The following information on DNA damage is copied from Wikipedia, The Free Encyclopedia: DNA repair

            Sources of damage

DNA damage can be subdivided into two main types:
            1. endogenous damage such as attack by reactive oxygen species produced from normal metabolic byproducts (spontaneous mutation), especially the process of oxidative deamination;
              1. also includes replication errors
            2. exogenous damage caused by external agents such as
              1. ultraviolet [UV 200-300nm] radiation from the sun
              2. other radiation frequencies, including x-rays and gamma rays
              3. hydrolysis or thermal disruption
              4. certain plant toxins
              5. human-made mutagenic chemicals, especially aromatic compounds that act as DNA intercalating agents
              6. cancer chemotherapy and radiotherapy
              7. viruses [5]
